20 april 2001
this is the only archive for april 2001

on behalf of the slaves who fought to give us the freedom to say no when a european plantation owner ordered us to whip our brethren, tell me, what the hell is happening in guyana? it seems that arson is abandoned as a means of reform, but yet out of nothingness, events arise, such as the assaulting of civilians, who probably -- in six months -- won't give a rat's ass which government controls guyana, but more concerned about food on their families' tables, clothing on their children's backs, and shelter above their heads.
i realised(yes, realised not realized. i was educated in the caribbean) that the issue really isn't racism. forgive me for not using the politically correct terms of afro- and indo- and what-ever-else-o- guyanese, but can we really say that blacks hate indians?
think about it.
can we really say that blacks are filled with a passionate hate of indians? or vice versa?
no, we can't.
i fully support the rejection of a leader that causes unsatisfaction among a people, but this revolutionary energy can
be controlled, refined, and steered in directions that will lead to happiness.
i do not support hurting my guyanese blood.
