once again mr. mark benschop and his new friend, mr. ronald waddell,
have managed to get some attention to satisfy their urges.
as i always do, i would refer to mr. marky-mark as "dutch-man",
but i won't. as always and will always be, i am neutral in the
political square. i advocate peace and love.
well, the use of propaganda seems to embody the new tactics. mr.
waddell claims that:
"he had information that the People's Progressive Party (PPP)
had distributed 1,000 AK 47's guns in the Mahaicony River and
that a group was being trained in warfare there."
i really doubt the above.
he also believes:
"the government was arming a section of the population and
was using arms in a way to terrorise, brutalise and kill (another)
section of the population."
this is propaganda in it's purest, barest, most undisguised form.
i could be wrong, right?
the police are saying that these remarks were intended to break
guyanese apart. i think the police are correct.
anyway, i wish i could give my guyenese brethren the clarity to
see that mr. benshop and waddell, respectively, are entertainers.
entertainers.
they are paid by a television broadcasting station to amuse guyanese
by shouting their political views at us.
it's not surprising that mr. waddell was arrested for his remarks.
it is amazing that his bail was set at one million dollars.
many guyanese do not make that in their lifetime (they don't need
to to live happily, though) while these television performers
make no argument at the great amount. (or maybe i'm just poor)
anyway, since this is our site, i'll say what i think--
these two men are not realising that our leaders are talking every
day and building guyana's pace forward. they must face reality--the
potentiality of their schemes decrease as our leaders bond.
do not be prey to their shouting and ranting on their little t.v
show.
we are such a tense people, but we must make ourselves immune
to their trickery. north american culture justifies watching endless
hours of mind-knumbing television shows as "cool" (how
i hate the word!). these two men take advantage of this and see
it is a cheap vehicle to break us apart and, in addition, make
a profit.
however, if these men ever prove to be nurturers and defenders
of peace and love among guyanese--they are then guaranteed the
support of my life.
as i said when i started all this, there is always so much to
be said, but we have to take small steps. i will do and say what
i have to in moderation.

i received this email today:
Dear Friends and Members:
Please take a look at the New Flag of
Guyana. Visit the website that promotes
the legal incorporation of Guyana
into the USA, www.GuyanaUSA.org. The site
is dedicated to an American, Guyana. Hope you enjoy your visit!
Thank you very much,
Ms. Sheri Rashad-Joseph
Guyana, USA!

the proposed flag of the new guy-american state. these cannibals
are like little children, playing with the future of guyana
naturally, i was outraged by this email, and
this "organisation".
i cheerfully clicked the link to guyanausa.org,
presuming that this was just some kind of satire of guyanese emigration
to the united states. i was disgusted to find that this site actually
"proves" that so many guyanese want guyana to become
a part of america in the form of statehood.
any fuck-up who did c.x.c. level history would
CLEARLY know the consequences of unnecessary u.s. intervention
in nations. what am i talking about?
puerto rico.
we the hell should we put america in a better
situation to drain our resources; isn't omai enough for them?
and talking about that resource-draining, pollutant
breeding, economy-stagnating company, did anyone ever visit omai?
once there, it is very hard to tell whether you're in south or
north america. they live in supreme conditions there, while in
our capital city, people starve, shiver and stare.
but yet, i do not mention the time they poisoned
us with their unwanted cyanide.
know this--i hate omai.

"o mai!" what big
holes you have! yet there are guyanese who ask themselves what
we would be without omai. i know the answer -- far better off!
anyway, this site MUST be some kind of joke
because i am so fucking sure that no guyanese, excluding the "bel-air
elites", would ever allow america to intervene in our country.
why should we make ourselves another puerto rico, fresh for the
raping.
i hate this organisation so much. i still hope
this is a joke. i rather die than live to witness guyana being
ceded to america.
ceded is the correct word.
so much to say. so little capacity for anger.
well, since you read this far, i'm assuming
you're on my side. you can email them at Infos@GuyanaUSA.Org
and let them know your feelings toward their completely ignorant
ideas.
tell them i said, not in this fucking lifetime.

i am not in the mood to say this, but i am guyanese,
so once again, congratulations mr. andrew lewis, and forgive me
for knowing nothing of boxing and the significance of your achievements.
i remain an admirer of your athletic strides forward.

our pride, mr. andrew 'six heads'
lewis.
