this is a site that'll be looking at the way guyanese in america act -- because these attitudes affect the future of guyana as a nation recovering from slavery. i will always stress that there is so much to be said. what must be said first is even though there are guyanese who shed their guyanese culture and become so american as soon as they step foot unto american soil, there are also true guyanese like myself who would die or kill for their country. we are the few, young or old, who are here because of necessity and not because of greed or "to get away from these lost guyanese."
