Guyana has never seen days of glory since ... im guessing the british ruled our land. Why? Because they ruled our precious land of "el dorado" and rich rain-forests with an "iron fist"
Everyone was straight as a board i imagine.
However, independence; FREEDOM> was granted. GRANTED! i feel granted because english did NOT HAVE TO give us what we wanted! BUT, they did .
THIS IS WHEN THIS GLORIOUS LAND SUNK; we became a particle submerged in a curel world.
HOW did we end up like this? GOD HOW INDEED!?

We hear stories of the Bad times ... never the good. never the good.
why is this so. Didnt we have glorious days?
FUCK , when LFS Burnham took power , eager to change our countrie's economic situation to communism all HEll broke loose ( you herd the stories). Why, it was indeed a good idea. BUT TOO RASH A CHANGE.

the following is an e-mail sent to the owners of guyanaspice.com after i read their proclamation of being the only guyanese flash site. i felt that such ridiculous statements embarrass all guyanese. this statement was similar to saying "i am the only man on the planet".
your site is NOT the 'only guyanese flash site on the web'.

these sites incorporate flash effectively, but they do not make inane boasts in a virtual world where nothing is constant.
instead of making ridiculous and dogmatic claims, you should work on your site to get it finished before christmas. the images on your site punishes the viewer with ancient load times. a cheap and simple image optimiser would be of benefit to you.
or perhaps:
"The art of art, the glory of expression and the sunshine of the light of letters, is simplicity."
use text where possible, don't choke you visitors with unnecessary images.
your site seems not guyanese, but rather, a 'guyanesed' site for americans. the images of yourselves react a similar conclusion.
don't get me wrong, i encourage your ambitions, but if you are going to establish a guyanese site, make it respectful, humble and true.

tech buddies are laffin at the elementary school quality of the sites as i
type - especailly the flash! we love your AMBITIONS- HAHAHA. we know that we
can make those DOGMATIC claims about flash; the sites that you suggested
really bolster our claims. btw, the flash that is on the site is only the
beginning. you will see soon. maybe by xmas; since you are so impatient
about having the site designed b4 xmas, i may wait longer to put the new
flash and design. do you hear yourself? you sound so eager to see the new
site and yet you blast it like you are never coming back to the site. you
sound foolish. and you most likely are foolish. PLEASE REFER TO THE

the site. spice is not out to be the next BILLY GATES, so we won't miss your
money. the people who email with negativity is nothing new but is few. if i
was making LOTS of money from the site then i might consider speeding up
the redesign. but you have overlooked one thing - we don't give a damn if
you can't wait. we will cater to the people with slow connections who wait
for those hellish download times for terrible ass songs or porno pics ( i
am sure that you are one of these) to download.

btw, you don't know what you are talking about with the optimizer. believe
me i know about opting graphics. again, A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS A TERRIBLE
THING. also, it is spelled OPTIMIZER; i don't care bout spellin. but i am
sure you thought it was spelled with a "s".

when to talk and knows how foolish you can sound when you attempt to make
your public or private opinions sound credible - as if you are an expert in
the ART of web design (i have to make a note that i did not even come close
to listing all Dr.Walter Hewick's degrees, licenses, certs, and so on).
Dr.Hewick said that he ADMIRES THE ART that GUYANA SPICE created so he
wanted something designed for him at the university(it is not on the
university site yet; waiting for their designer to put it on their server).
since you are such a spectacular artist, you realize that art is not
something that can be restrained. so if you can't wait for some of the long
dl (download) times then get the hell off the site. especailly flash. most
sites make you wait a hell of a long time for the flash to load; but not
ours.

say that you might have learned something about quotes and design, but i

i am amused at the tactics of guyanaspice.com. i call it 'the eminem effect'. basically, you insult, degrade, rant and rave as much as your intelligence permits, thereby creating some amount of controversy, and with this comes attention...popularity, even if it's just embarrassingly temporary. also, visitors will only send positive feedback in order to avoid a harsh reaction.
