this was a letter sent by "jen" in relation to something i
posted on the home page of the old site. this may sound confusing, but
these letters give insight to the website's purpose. jen refers to this
archive (dated 11 september 2001). see previous letters from "jen"
here (july 2001)
and here (august 2001). remember
that by this time, the acts of violence on 11th september had already
occured and were being discussed by many.
When the person said it was the monsters of the children and families
"you" murdered in their Middle Eastern homes. "You"
meaning who are you talking about? The US?

my reply to the above.
i SERIOUSLY heard a relative say that, and it
would be presumptuous of me to go and ask who the "you" was.
i wanted to write something about a recent experience on the f train,
where a woman, a white american, was proclaiming to a few strangers
that america deserved what it got because they always act so invincible
and untouchable. she said that america keeps looking for trouble with
them, so it shouldn't be surprising that they attacked the u.s..
i have to be very careful in choosing what i say. this is why i did
not want to mention it.
but there are many people who will say plainly that they support the
acts of terrorism, BUT THEY WISH THAT NO LIVES WERE TAKEN.
they support the acts because it is a great and supernatural sensation
to see americans, not even as inferior, but even for just a few hours,
as equals, who live as the majority of the world does - enwrapped by
fear, hopelessness, and dark horror.
i feel that those people should not have been murdered.

it is hardly the case. humor comes in strange ways. actually, i enjoyed
it.
i am going to have a hate mail section on my new design; but, i don't
get much hate mail; so, i had to spur you on to get a reaction to add
to my hate mail section; well, you didn't really have much of a reaction.
that sucked.

translated, your first email informs me that
the tripod site loads slowly. thank you very much for telling me. i'll
build a preloader, or refine my work.
the second email was not surprising.
however, it makes me consider posting a disclaimer along with all foreign
texts. i should probably say that i don't necessarily harbour the views
of the readers of the stabroek news, or at least that i am not so insensitive
as to print my views, which as you've shown me, can me offensive to
americans.

look man, i hope you can hear me.
we, you and me, live a good life in the USA; the OIL RICH LANDS of the
arabs
are misused by their leaders. i and you are NOT responsible for their
fuck
ups; they are a cruel ppl; see www.rawa.org ; this site has some gruesome
photos of the arab atrocities in afghanistan(other arab nations have
similar
atrocities). the arab nations only care to kill themselves, israelis,
and
americans. in history, you will see this occur again and again.
when you put up that crap article, it represents somebody that wants
to have
sympathy for the arab nations. i don't; and i won't. this feeling was
even
before the attack. i always supported the only TRUE democracy in the
middle
east.
look over the shit i put on my site. it is only brief of what i will
put up.
many do not want to read. reading is boring. ppl would rather see pretty
flash or animated gifs. i hope your anger(that you admitted to) is turned
into something constructive and you read the actual reality of arab
nations,
and how the USA gives a hope of an ideal nation. i don't say any nation
is
perfect. there is no such thing. life is not perfect! but the USA gives
us
hope. it also gives us the capability to work towards that ideal nation.
the
ideal nation will not come to us without working towards the ideal.
just
like freedom has a price.nothing is given to us. we are not entitled
to
freedoms; we sometimes forget this. we are not created equal(physically
or
mentally); but, the USA tries to work to that ideal.
might i add about the rich oil lands the arabs have
now; before WW2 the
arabs were fucking poor rass nomads. they contributed minimally to the
war
effort. they would be german slave bitches if not for the USA. i know
the
arabs had great nations and empires. but in this century they knew nothing
about oil; they didn't know how to run it themselves .... blah blah
blah.
you should be angered at the ruthless history of the arabs when they
had
great empires. but no, you want to create some type of alienation to
the
USA. you want to make the USA as some type of stereotype when actually
the
USA is made up of ppl like you and me.
many ppl may die for your freedom that you have in
this country, including
me. how can you live with yourself by defending ruthless ppl? just imagine
how you would live if there was no USA;look at that site www.rawa.org
. the
arabs are not a peaceful ppl. remember that and don't forget it.
you putting up that article, and the negative actions/comments
of others on
the USA motivate me to put up more proof of how good(i hold back from
saying
GREAT b/c you will take offense to this probably) the USA is and how
horrible the arab nations are; so i thank you for that. however, sometimes
ppl want to find an easy understanding for why the arabs did what they
did.
